A local news crew is quick on the scene to report live. As the reporter is struggling to find something to justify the break in local programming - such as people wearing flip-flops in summertime - look who walks by carrying a flat screen TV!
Of course, in the era following Gates-gate(TM), no one is going to dare ask the gentleman why he is carrying the TV. Any theories on what might have happened if a cop had stopped him to ask about the TV?
I can see it happening. Homeboy sees his neighbors outside checking out the storm damage. He slips into their unlocked house, knowing if he gets caught he can say he was checking on their safety. Grabs a TV, and walks it out the backdoor.
