"Conservative Mouth Piece"

Jesus H. Criminy!

Not by choice, I got up early this morning. I turned on the the TV. The CBS Early Morning News was giving a tease about "conservative mouthpiece Glenn Beck" talking with Katie "colonoscopy" Couric.

I had already seen the interview yesterday. Beck handled Katie's persecution well, but I wondered why he agreed to plop down in the hot seat. I also wondered why Katie didn't do an interview with a representative from ACORN.

As far as the tease, why does the mainstream media add the adjective of "conservative" to Beck, but not call lefties like Couric a "liberal"? Couric is so far left of of Dan Rather (who is currently suing CBS over the fact he was "fired" for making sh*t up) that she couldn't hit him with a snowball. Same goes for Keith Olbermann, Dianne Sawyer, David Gregory, and Anderson Cooper. "Liberal" is a term that applies to almost anyone on ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, or PBS. When someone is aligned with FOX news, partisan labels are applied.

That's my rant for the moment. It's a repeat of what people have been asking for 25 years. It's a topic that former CBS correspondent Bernard Goldberg, a Democrat, has written books about.

***My blogging has been light the past few days. I've had time to opine away, I just don't know where to start. It must be ADHD. Time to ask Dr. Dave - Look for a post on that this week!

  1. These people don't label themselves because they are under the (mistaken) impression that they are "true" journalists. As "true" journalists they are (supposed to be) unbiased. So therefore, no labels.
In reality, they are members of the "state-run" media, so they should be labeled "statists".
Save yourself the agita of trying to figure these weasels out. Oh that's a better label..."statist weasels".
